Roller Rebel of the Month

Welcome to the first entry of a new segment on our blog. Featured each month, will be a different member of The Long Island Roller Rebels. Check in and get to know the individuals who together form our derby family. Veterans, refs, fresh bloods, support staff, coaches, mascots....the whole crew!

I couldn't think of a more deserving person to be our first feature than our very own Captain. Captain Morgan, President of The Long Island Roller Rebels, is one of the original founding members of the league. For over three years, she has devoted all of her free time to playing, coaching, and keeping us all in check! Dedicated, hard working, hard hitting and all around great chick, Captain Morgan has made both skaters and fans want to keep coming back for more derby action. Get to know Captain and you will be sure to find a friend in her. Skate against her, and get ready to be knocked down harder than you could have ever imagined. One of the best blockers and hardest hitters you will come up against, Captain Morgan is a force to be reckoned with! Not only am I honored to have Captain Morgan as our first featured member, I am happy to post this entry today, August 13th....her birthday!!
